In our third meetup, and last one this year Marko Topolnik shall speak about distributed consensus algorithm design. He will go into why algorithms like raft and Paxos are as complex as they are from the ground up. We will interactively build our own consensus algorithm and explore what problems and tradeoff arise during its design.
If somebody wants to share something/speak/have some ideas, on here/email/whatever.
Especially if you’d like a lighting talk, e.g. 5-10 minutes presenting what you’re working on, or some cool tips & tricks you’ve found out recently and gotta share.
